The new bon apetit has a recipe for sweet corn gelato, which sounds delicious (who doesn't like corn?) On epicurious, there is a sweet corn ice cream recipe. Whichever I choose, sweet corn will become a frozen dessert at least once this summer!

It's blueberry season again! Going picking at bishops tomorrow, and will once again participate in the anual 'whoever picks the most blueberries wins' game that me and my 3 siblings play. That means we end up with lots of blueberries. Here are some recipes I'm just dying to make:

OMG!!! OREO BALLS ARE AMAAAAZZZZIIIIIINNNNNGGGG!!!!!! They taste just like delicious rich dense cakey chocolate truffles, they are sooooooo good!!! My BFF Emily introduced me to these delicacies over the summer and I haven't been able to keep them out of my mind since! I've finally gotten a recipe! I've made truffles once before, and they were the messiest things ever :P but... TOTALLY worth it with these!
Recipe::
- 1 entire package of oreo cookies
- mix with one 8oz package of cream cheese
- scoop into balls, place on a cookie sheet, and freeze
- melt chocolate chips
- dip and cover frozen balls in the melted chocolate to cover
- keep refridgerated until ready to serve
request completed - and totally completely WAY more delicious than I remembered :)))

Flipping moms new cookie magazine, something spots my eye: a cute yellow dougnut like thing covered in a sweet lemon glaze with small white sugar crystals adorning it. And so I find the Ciambelle, a sweet pastry-like lemon cookie in a ring shape. It seems so sweet and cute and I just love lemon when it's in cooking (otherwise I dont :P) so I thought: I want to make this! And so, sometime, I just might have to! And if I can't find the magazine at that time (or for you out there who don't have it) here's the recipe online: http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/christines-lemon-wreath-cookies

My most recent request is a biscotti, a hard twice baked cookie, perfect for dipping into coffee or hot chocolate. There are very many different types of biscottis out there. There are almond biscottis, chocolate biscottis, pumpkin biscottis, and cranberry biscottis. There are vanilla, butter, sugar, and chocolate dipped among others. I wonder which I will make! Guess I will just have to find out!
Here's a link on tips for how to make biscottis: http://allrecipes.com/HowTo/Perfect-Biscotti/Detail.aspx
